Looks like Samsung Exynos is busy with a new SoC, the Exynos 5420.
According to the files from patchwork.kernel.org, Samsung Exynos did
test compatible strings for Exynos 5420. Now let’s hope this time the
Exynos 5420 is completed right on time and works well. According to the
research found by a developer and published by SamMobile, the Samsung
Exynos 5410 Octa-Core didn’t work out the way Samsung initially wanted
it to.
Customers with the Galaxy S4: Exynos Edition blamed Samsung about hot devices with plenty of bugs. Samsung told customers that the issues will be fixed with future software updates. And since the release of the Galaxy S4 (Exynos), we have only received two software updates which haven’t fixed any of these major issues.
