In a press release on 21st Dec, Nokia has announced extension of
availability of Lumia 920 and 820 on many other retailers and networks
starting January 2013. They have also announced that Feb 2013 onwards
Lumia 620 will also come to nearly all major networks and retailers in
UK.
Lumia 920 availability:
From January 2013 onwards, the flagship Nokia Lumia 920 will be available from Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse, Three UK & will also be distributed to independent retailers from Micro-P. The Nokia Lumia 920 will continue to be available through EE, Orange, T-Mobile and Phones4U.
Lumia 820 availability:
From January 2013 onwards, the Nokia Lumia 820 will be available from Vodafone for the first time, while continuing to be on sale from EE, Orange, T-Mobile, O2, Tesco, Phones4U, Carphone Warehouse and Micro-P’s distribution into independent retail channels.
Lumia 620 availability:
From February 2013 the highly anticipated Nokia Lumia 620, will be available from Vodafone, O2, Three UK, Virgin Mobile, Carphone Warehouse, Phones4U and via Micro-P into independent retail channels.
This is amazing news and is music to ears to many prospective Lumia 920, 820 and 620 customers who always wanted to avoid the contract with EE and co. Seems, Nokia’s recent success in UK market has given them enough confidence to become aggressive distribution wise.
