Japan Display company presented its new development: prototype displays,
targeting mobile phones, tablets and auto-board computers. The most
interesting of them is a 7-inch screen with a very high resolution for
this size - 2560 x 1600 pixels and is 431 dpi. For comparison, the
9.7-inch Retina display the tablet Apple iPad resolution is 2048 x 1536
pixels, that is, 264 pixels per inch. In the tablet Samsung Nexus 10, in
turn, provides a 10.1-inch screen is 2560 x 1600 pixels (300 pixels per
inch).
Creators screens claim that their contrast ratio is 2000:1, in addition, they consume 50% less power than previous generations.
