AUO company has demonstrated a new touch screen mobile. This screen has a diagonal of 4.46 inches - quite a decent (but not record) size for a modern smartphone. However, the main feature of this panel is very thin at the edges of the display frame: its thickness is only 1 mm. According to the company, the new display is different finest in the world frame.
When creating a new screen from AUO used low-temperature poly-silicon technology (low-temperature poly-silicon, LTPS) - is it possible to achieve such impressive results. In addition to the fine frame, the display has another advantage: high resolution 720p. It is hoped that in the near future the market will be smartphones with screens - this will make them more compact while maintaining a large display.
