Nokia's Finland-Fort bursts - Samsung missed

overtook Samsung in the first quarter of Nokia phone for sale in Finland, explained the research firm IDC. The change has been the increasing popularity of smart phones.
Samsung sold between January and March for the first time in Finland more phones than Nokia.
Nokia's market share sank in January-March to 33 per cent, while Samsung's rose by 36 per cent, estimates research firm IDC.Internationally, Nokia Samsung went back to the same time last year. Now, years later, the same thing happened in Finland, Nokia's traditionally strong at home.
Nokia and Samsung's rise has been rapid collapse. Even in the first months of 2010 Nokia's market share in Finland was 65 per cent, while Samsung's share fell to 12 per cent.
The third most popular phone manufacturer from Finland is Apple, which was this year's first quarter for iPhone 14 per cent market share.
Research firm IDC's figures are based on data collected from cell phone merchants.
The rise of smart phones has 
infected with Nokia

At the same time Nokia has collapsed in the basic telephone sales. In January-March 2010, Nokia sold according to IDC, 237 500 basic phone, but this year the same time, Nokia sold them no longer only 98 000.
