ABBYY TextGrabber + Translator for iOS with features for people with visual disabilities

Company ABBYY has announced a new version of the application ABBYY TextGrabber + Translator 3.0 for Apple iOS, which recognizes texts, photographed by a camera device, and translate them into other languages. Version includes special features to help you work with your application visually impaired and blind users. Now the program can articulate a recognized and translated text in more than 30 languages, making it, according to the developers, useful for people with visual impairment.

Thanks to the technology of OCR ABBYY Mobile OCR Engine, the application accurately recognizes the text directly on the mobile device without the need for access to the Internet. Recognized text can be easily translated, the application supports online service Google Translate, which allows to obtain full-text translation from 45 to more than 50 languages. Result recognition and translation is displayed on the display of the mobile device, the user can choose the most convenient size for display, from small to very large.

The new version of ABBYY TextGrabber + Translator VoiceOver support from Apple - the voice interface support, which allows you to work with your application, even if the user can not see the elements on the screen. With this function, the application can be controlled with gestures: simply touch the screen and the program will announce the name of an item on the screen and give a clue to its use.

Recognized and translated text can be edited if necessary, and send to friends and colleagues via email or SMS, to publish on his Facebook page and Twitter, or save it to Evernote.
