São Jose dos Campos is one of the highest ranking Brazilian cities in
terms of education and quality of life, and a highly regarded industrial
and research center. Current Mayor, Eduardo Cury, tells us why he
believes technology is so important to the future prospects of its young
people.
With huge levels of urbanization in Brazil in recent decades, Cury also outlines some of the technological challenges facing the country and other mayors.
"Our kids need (access to) new technology to get new knowledge," he says. "In my opinion that is the big challenge to mayors in Brazil."
