Salman Khan lands in trouble for car accident case!

Salman Khan has again landed in trouble for his car accident case. An IPS officer turned activist YP Singh has charged Mumbai police for favoring Salman Khan in the Ten year old case. YP Singh has also asked for a top level inquiry for this issue.
On Sept 28, 2002, Salman Khan’s Land Cruiser had rammed into a bakery in Bandra. This accident killed 1 and hurt 4, who were sleeping on the footpath. For this hit-and-run case, Salman was booked for responsible murder not amounting to homicide. But now activist YP Singh has urged the police to re-open Salman’s case.
YP Singh said at a media conference, “Salman Khan was absent 82 times, when called by the court and even the public prosecutor started neglecting the case. The commissioner of police needs to design a top level inquiry into the issue, to show how simple summons weren’t being served from time to time for years together and witnesses not produced in court.”
