Gartner: in 2013 will be sold 1.2 billion smartphones and tablets

Research agency Gartner published a forecast of sales of smartphones and tablets in 2012 and 2013. This year, the devices of this type around the world will sell 821 million shares, amounting to 70% of the market for the mobile device market. The following year, sales growth will continue and will reach 1.2 billion units. Thus sales of tablets in 2016 could triple only in the business sector, up from the current 13 million to 53 million units per year. Dominate in this market will also be running Android, whose share will increase from 34% to 56% in 2016. Microsoft also will be successful in promoting its Windows 8.
