Apple was not included in the top five mobile phone manufacturers in China

Apple smartphones were not popular in China, reported resource Computer World, referring to the analytical agency Canalys. While the company sells the devices around the world iPhone, consistently ranked among the most popular brands in China in the third quarter, the situation has developed in such a way that one of the five most popular brands of smartphone manufacturers Apple has not appeared. In the second quarter, the company closed the top five, and another one in the previous quarter was in second position. Now, in the first place Samsung (14% of the market), and the second Lenovo (13%). The third position of the selected well known outside of China firm Yulong Computer Telecommunication Scientific smartphones sold under the brand Coolpad. Isolated, not far behind Yolong and from each other, ZTE and Huawei, a model of which are known in other markets.  
All three of these companies have a market share of about 10%. Apple is placed in sixth position with 8% of all smartphones sold in China. This is 1% less than the previous quarter, which means that sales have not grown, while the rest of the market rose. Total in China for the quarter were sold about 50 million smartphones. In this case, the most popular model, the budget segment, for example Coolpad with value less than $ 100 per unit. Most units sold have a value from 70 to 120 dollars, which appeals to those who purchase the first smartphone.
The price for the local market iPhone starts at $ 713, which does not help too much attractive models. However, it should be noted that the main competitor in the global market, the company Samsung, does not sell smartphones ultrabudgetary level, but keeps the lead. At the same time, the pressure of local vendors is very high - they account for over 60% of the market for smartphones.
