During the conference, WWDC, along with the announcement of iOS 7 and
new devices, Apple has summed up the results that relate to its
products, including software. So, it is advised that the iTunes Store
has more than 900,000 applications, 375,000 of them - for the iPad. 93%
of apps downloaded from the catalog at least once a month. In all, to
date there have been over 50 billion downloads. For comparison, a year
ago, the iTunes Store was 650,000 applications (225,000 for the iPad)
and 30 billion downloads. In addition, at this point has sold more than
600 million devices based on the operating system iOS. Thus, last month
it was announced that 900 million activated devices based on Android -
the main competitor iOS.
