The Successor of Samsung’s Galaxy Y – Galaxy Y Plus has gone official.
The device runs on Android OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and powered by 850
MHz Processor. It sports 2.8 inch 240 x 320 pixels resolution
touchscreen display and holds 2 MP camera on it’s back. It features 4 GB
internal memory and microSD card slot. Connectivity features includes
Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm Audio Jack, GPS and micro USB. It also
includes FM Radio and packs 1200 mAh battery. Currently the device is
shown in Samsung India official Website, which means it will be soon available in India. It is an Dual SIM smartphone which will be priced around Rs.8,000.
The successor has improved slightly in Processor and comes with higher
internal memory and Ice Cream Sandwich but with smaller display. We also
don’t know whether the company has an Single SIM variant like Galaxy
Y.
