
At the Samsung Forum in South Africa, Samsung announced two new devices –
the Galaxy Star and the Galaxy Pocket Neo. Both devices are entry-level
Android phones and apparently run Android OS 4.1. On the specs front,
Galaxy Star supports only 2G/EDGE connectivity and comes with 512MB RAM,
3-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera, dual-SIM support and 4GB internal
memory.
On the other hand, Galaxy Pocket Neo supports 7.2Mbps HSDPA and comes
with 850MHz processor, 512MB RAM, 3-inch QVGA display, dual-SIM support,
4GB internal storage, 2MP camera and lots more.
There’s no word on the pricing or the availability.
