Company Yandex announced that its search engine has become a major
smartphones on Windows Phone 8, just like last year in the devices on
Windows Phone 7. In smartphones on the new platform will be Yandex
search by default, not only in Russia, but in all countries of the CIS.
This was made possible, according to the company, thanks to its
collaboration with Microsoft and handset manufacturers.
Yandex search preinstalled in all smartphones on Windows Phone 8 that are now appearing on the market. Today started selling smartphones of Nokia-the flagship Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 model. This is the first device on the Windows Phone 8, which entered the Russian shops. In the near future there will be selling Windows Phone 8X model and Windows Phone 8S from HTC and smartphones Samsung.
In the unit on the new platform integrates Yandex search more closely. It will be available not only in the browser, but also as a separate application. It is designed with the features of the new platform and will be assigned to the standard search button. Nokia smartphone owners can use the application from day one. In HTC devices, it will appear in December - after the update.
