Tele2 launches mobile network in the Jewish Autonomous Region

Operator Tele2 announced the launch of a mobile network in GSM1800 standard in the Jewish Autonomous Region. Network operator, as promised, will be commercially launched in November 9, 2012. The Jewish Autonomous Region is the fourth region of the Russian Far East, which will start the mobile network Tele2: in October, the network operator launched in Sakhalin and Kamchatka Krai, in November of services are available to residents of the Magadan region. Tele2 network construction in the Jewish Autonomous Region lasted for 5 months .  
As a manufacturer of base stations, switches and other network elements operator has selected Nokia Siemens Networks. At the moment in the Tele2 network coverage are more than 65% of the Jewish Autonomous Region.  
Already a high level of signal in Birobidzhan and towns Obluchye, Smidovich Teploozersky, Bira, Valdgame, Pronkina Yellow Yar and Volochaevka. Covered with a network of road from Birobidzhan to the Yellow Yar. On the roads on the route Birobidzhan - Volochaevka and Birobidzhan - Obluchye link provided at a distance of 20 kilometers from settlements. During 2013 Tele2 promises to provide communication in many communities in Birobijan, Lenin, Obluchensky, and the October Smidovichsky districts.
