Verizon Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD and RAZR HD reviews

Got the Motorola RAZR MAXX HD yesterday morning and so far really nice. From a 100% charge the battery hasn’t died yet and I’ve been messing with the phone quite a bit. Camera is pretty good and the organization of apps is great! I think Motorola may have the phone to beat here. They put the effort into where it counts: ease of use, long battery life and sturdy design. It definitely does not feel like a toy when you are holding it.

$199 (Razr HD)/$299 (Razr Maxx HD) are Verizon list prices.  You may get $149 for Razr HD and $199 for Maxx HD from online retailers (e.g., wirefly) for 2-year contract prices.
Top Notch Build Quality: Check : Ask anyone that has owned Motorola Phones and they know they are built premium and like tanks. There are few exceptions.
Camera: 8 MP : Check: Decent Camera, every website except Engadget bashed it. Don’t know what the fuss is about here. Its an AIGHT Camera. End of Story
Battery life: Check: Both Versions are Industry leading. No comment necessary
Radios/Speaker: Check: Motorola arguably has the best on the market in terms of Radios/Speakers
Screen: Check: Its a REALLY REALLY GOOD screen but its just not the best. It will get the job done though. Don’t panic over the Pentile part. Pentile nowadays is way less noticeable.
Skin: Check : Closest to Stock, upgraded to JB Soon, Razr M already got a JB leak, ICS is still manageable for a few months.
The Verizon Motorola Droid Razr HD feature a 4.7 inch Super AMOLED HD screen, 8MP rear camera, water–repellent nanocoating, dual-core 1.5GHz processor,  upgraded from 1.2 GHz OMAP 4 to 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory, 2,530 mAh battery and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. RAZR MAXX HD also features include 32 GB of internal memory and 3,300 mAh battery.
